The one-sentence version
SayDo runs no servers. Your conversations, voice, items, and ledger data are stored entirely on your own devices (your computer and your phone) and travel only within your own local network. The developer cannot access — and does not collect — any of your data.
What we collect
Nothing. The app has no developer-operated backend, no account system, no analytics, and no third-party tracking or advertising SDKs. No user data is uploaded.
Device capabilities the app uses, and why

Storage and transmission
- All items, conversations, and ledger data live in the SayDo data directory on your computer; the phone acts only as a display and input device for your computer;
- Phone-to-computer communication happens within your LAN, authenticated by a token exchanged via one-time QR pairing; the token is kept in the phone's secure system storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore / the HarmonyOS equivalent);
- Third-party AI services you configure on the desktop side (your own CLI subscriptions or API keys) are called directly by your computer, under your own agreements with those providers; the developer of this app never touches or sees them.
Data deletion
Deleting the app removes all phone-side local data (pairing information and caches). Desktop-side data is managed and deleted by you on your computer.
Children
The app is not designed for children under 14, collects no personal information, and contains no content directed at children.
Changes to this policy
Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
